Lan & Network Setup

Setting up a Local Area Network (LAN) involves several key aspects to ensure efficiency, security, and reliable connectivity. Here are some of the most important aspects we consider when setting up your LAN and network.

Topology and Infrastructure

We choose the appropriate network topology (e.g., star, bus, ring) based on the organization’s needs. We also Select and deploy reliable networking hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and cabling.

IP Addressing and Protocols

Planning and implementation of a logical IP addressing scheme for devices on the network.Choosing and configuring appropriate network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) for efficient communication.

Security

Implementing robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software while Enforcing strong authentication methods and access controls to protect against unauthorized access.

Monitoring and Management

We Deploy monitoring tools to track network performance, bandwidth usage, and device health.Maintain documentation of network configurations and settings for troubleshooting and future reference.

Scalability and Redundancy

Designing your network to be scalable while allowing for easy expansion as the organization grows.Implementation of redundancy and fail-over mechanisms for critical network components to ensure continuous service.

Training and Compliance

We train IT staff and end-users on network usage policies, security practices, and troubleshooting procedures We also ensure that the network setup complies with industry standards and regulations, addressing data protection requirements.

GSM Setup & Services

GSM services encompass various communication capabilities and features that enable mobile devices to connect to a cellular network. Here are some key GSM services we offer at I3C.

Voice and Call Services

GSM provides the fundamental service of voice communication, allowing users to make and receive calls on their mobile devices. This includes features like call waiting and conference calling.

Messaging Services

GSM supports Short Message Service (SMS), enabling users to send and receive text messages. This also includes multimedia messaging through services like MMS.

International Roaming & Supplementary Services

One of the strengths of GSM is international roaming, allowing users to use their mobile devices in different countries seamlessly. Additionally, GSM provides various supplementary services like call forwarding, call waiting, and cell broadcast to enhance the user experience.

Data & Internet Access

This includes Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) for more efficient packet-switched data transmission.

Security Management

GSM incorporates security features such as encryption and authentication to ensure the privacy and security of voice and data transmissions.

Fiber Optical Installation

Installing fiber optic cables involves steps to ensure a reliable and efficient network. Here’s our general guide to fiber optic installation

Planning

  • Site Survey: Conduct a thorough survey to identify the best routes for fiber optic cables. Consider obstacles, existing infrastructure, and environmental factors.
  • Design: Create a detailed installation plan, including cable routes, splice points, termination locations, and necessary equipment.

Gathering Materials and Tools

  • Fiber Optic Cables: Choose the appropriate type of fiber optic cables based on the installation requirements (single-mode or multi-mode).
  • Connectors and Splice Enclosures: Select connectors, splice closures, and other necessary hardware.

Prepare the Work Area

  • Safety: Ensure that the work area is safe and secure. Follow safety protocols, and provide personal protective equipment for the installation team.
  • Clear Pathways: Ensure that the cable pathways are clear of obstructions and are easily accessible.

Cable Installation

  • Pulling Cables: Install cables through conduits, ducts, or overhead trays using appropriate pulling techniques.
  • Cable Protection: Use conduits or inner ducts to protect the cables from environmental factors and physical damage.
  • Testing: Conduct cable tests, such as optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) tests, to verify cable integrity during and after installation.

Splicing and Termination

  • Fusion Splicing: Connect fibers using fusion splicing, ensuring low loss and high reliability.
  • Termination: Terminate fibers with connectors at the endpoints. Use connectors appropriate for the application (e.g., SC, LC, ST).
  • Testing: Perform optical power and continuity tests to ensure proper splicing and termination.

Final Testing and Commissioning

  • End-to-End Testing: Verify the performance of the entire fiber optic link, including signal loss and bandwidth.
  • Commissioning: Integrate the fiber optic network into the overall communication system.

Our Tower Builds

These towers are essential for supporting antennas and other equipment that facilitate the transmission and reception of signals. Here are some key aspects of telecommunication tower infrastructure

hstgdrtgr

Guyed Towers

Supported by guy wires and are commonly used for tall structures. Guyed towers find application in various industries and sectors due to their structural design and stability provided by guy wires.

Monopoles

Single, self-supporting poles that are commonly used in urban and suburban environments. self-supporting pole, find application in various industries due to their aesthetic appeal, space efficiency, and versatility.

twhytrys

Lattice Towers

Framework of metal beams and are often used for medium to tall structures. are valued for their high strength-to-weight ratio and the ability to withstand heavy loads, making them suitable for applications where structural stability and cost-effectiveness are crucial.
